Booklet-Matched Palette: This Rico set holds the ten Creative Bubble shades used in its Crazy Bubble Gang booklet: cream, vanilla, pink, lavender, dove blue, aqua and aquamarine, plus neon apricot, neon fuchsia and black.
Shaped, Not Square: The booklet's eight models, including bees, strawberries, cherries and quirky little critters, are shaped sponges and washcloths rather than plain squares. Rico specifies a 4 mm hook for this yarn.

If the Pastel kit is for the guest bathroom, this one is for the sink where the real washing-up happens.

Creative Bubble crochets quickly into kitchen sponges, dishcloths and bath scrubbies: 100% polyester, simple enough for children learning to crochet, and machine washable at 60 °C so every piece stays hygienic. Ten balls make around 20 sponges — mix the shades freely, the whole point here is that nothing is meant to match.

What is the difference between the Crazy Bubble Gang kit and the Rainbow Creative Bubble kit?

Both hold ten 50 g balls of Rico Creative Bubble, but the palettes differ. Crazy Bubble Gang mixes neon apricot and neon fuchsia with aqua, aquamarine, lavender, dove blue, pink, cream, vanilla and black, while the Rainbow kit runs through classic red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. Pick Crazy Bubble Gang for playful shapes, Rainbow for colour-coding.

Can I mix the Crazy Bubble Gang kit with other Creative Bubble shades?

Yes, every ball in the box is regular Rico Creative Bubble, so any single ball of Rico Creative Bubble works at the same stitch count. That is handy when a shape calls for a colour the box lacks, such as a strong yellow for bees or red for cherries, or when you run out of a favourite shade.

Are sponges from the Crazy Bubble Gang kit machine washable?

Yes, Creative Bubble sponges can go in the washing machine at 60 °C, shaped ones included, along with your kitchen towels. Wash neon and black pieces with similar colours the first few times, skip the tumble dryer, and hang them to dry by a loop so the shapes keep their form.
