Very soft and pleasant threads that you really like to work with! 🧶 The only drawback - it is a little difficult to disassemble, as the thread may break. Therefore, you need to work carefully. But the threads are so tender and pleasant to the touch that it is definitely worth choosing them. I am very pleased! ❤️

Can I use YarnArt Dolce instead of Himalaya Dolphin Baby?

Yes, in most patterns. Both Dolce and HiMALAYA Dolphin Baby are 100% polyester super bulky chenille with 120 m per 100 g, so they swap easily and can be mixed in one toy or blanket. Pile and shade can differ slightly between brands, so crochet a small swatch before switching yarn halfway through a project.

How many balls of YarnArt Dolce for a baby blanket?

Around 5–6 balls for a blanket of about 75 × 75 cm. A super bulky chenille blanket that size typically uses 600–720 m, and each 100 g ball of Dolce holds 120 m (660 ÷ 120 = 5.5). For a larger cot blanket of about 90 × 110 cm, plan on roughly 9–10 balls.

What size safety eyes for a Dolce amigurumi?

Chenille toys usually come out fairly large, so 12–16 mm eyes suit medium heads and 18–24 mm suit big plushies. Fit them between rounds before stuffing and press the washers down firmly through the thick fabric.
